Custom House, Niagara

Located on the corner of Park Street and Zimmerman in Niagara Falls, the Old Post Office and Custom House was built in 1883 by Thomas Fuller, who also designed the first parliment buildings in Ottawa. In addition to the aforementioned, the building also housed a police station. The building was abandoned when a fire destroyed its interior.
This magnificent feat of architecture is said to be haunted by a shadowy figure, seen looking out of the upper floor windows, as well as a weeping woman who is said to quickly appear and disappear in a cloud of mist. Strange, unnatural noises have also been reported coming from the rear of the building.
